This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Developer to join a leading cloud solutions and managed services business based in the North East. As a developer you will be passionate about cloud technology and have proven experience of running technical project delivery and working as part of a team. You will lead the delivery of projects, working with clients to understand business requirements and translating into technical delivery tasks.
Your role will involve contributing to the technical delivery of our projects, leading sprints and task assignments and developing as part of a project team. You will be working both externally with customers and internally with business development and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction, along with assisting in engaging in your practice area, supporting our pre-sales and marketing activities, whilst also mentoring junior consultants and graduates.

Role Duties & Expectations
- Your primary role is to be a senior developer for project delivery, working as part of a project team or individually, both onsite in the UK and remotely on clients’ premises.
- You will be delivering .NET Azure based solutions, working with C#, and Blazor developing Web Applications and Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of TypeScript, and SPFx is beneficial but not required. As part of the project team, you will liaise with business and technical audiences.
- You will assist the operations teams with building project plans and developing test plans as well as ensuring that relevant project documentation is completed.
- Depending on the project and team engagement, you will assist with the full solution delivery lifecycle from scope, design, build and configuration, to testing, training, adoption and handover.
- Also help our team support existing solutions across our client base.
- Synergi places a lot of emphasis on developing skills and you will be given the opportunity to attend events, user groups and actively participate in online communities to extend your technical profile. You will be assigned clear learning paths for your practice areas and will contribute to attaining the relevant Microsoft certifications, aligned with our partner gold and silver competencies.
- Your role will also involve training and mentoring junior consultants and graduates within your practice on both technical and professional elements of consultancy
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree (or higher qualification) in Computer Science or a related field is typical but not essential for the role.
- At least 4 years professional development experience
- Experience working with C# and .NET Technologies in a commercial environment
- Experience with integrating with APIs Knowledge of OAuth, Azure Active Directory, MSAL/ADAL libraries beneficial
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Azure elements (e.g. Azure Web Jobs, Azure Functions, Azure SQL)
- Experience gathering requirements with clients and writing technical and functional specifications
- Experience leading developers and managing task assignment
- Experience of source code management techniques
- You will demonstrate strong communication skills and customer-facing experience to support leading technical delivery.
- You will have experience of delivering and managing technical project communications and all aspects of the delivery lifecycle including specification, design, build and technical documentation.
Beneficial experience, skills and background for the role (but not required):
- Experience of working with SharePoint Online as platform
- Capabilities in SPFx developer with React and TypeScript
- Experience working with the Microsoft Graph SDKs/Endpoints
