Power Platform Consultant

Overview
 

As a Power Platform Consultant, you will have the opportunity to deliver and contribute to the growth of our Power Platform and SharePoint capability by helping our clients to adopt Microsoft Power Platform as a strategic low-code development platform.

You will guide, build, and oversee the implementation of best-practice solutions. Working within a highly progressive and collaborative team consisting of technical and commercial colleagues to deliver services and projects for our clients.

This is an excellent role to showcase your consultancy and technical skills with a wide range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning:
 

• Collaborate with senior consultants and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support the design and architecture of solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse and SharePoint
• Work with the senior consultants, other consultants, and clients to ensure that Power Platform solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint and Dataverse functioning properly and meets the client's requirements
• Technical Review of User Stories
• Estimate User Stories and tasks
• Task planning breakdown of User Stories and estimation in hours
  
   

Delivery:
 

• Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members to understand and deliver on requirements
• Support the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Power Platform solution utilising tools such as DevOps and where necessary Logic Apps
• Develop clean, efficient, secure and well-documented Power Platform and SharePoint solutions
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable and secure
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the solutions
• Train end users
• Participate in solution reviews to ensure that implementation is of a high quality and adheres to good practices and company guidelines
• Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of assigned project
• Work closely with project managers and other teams to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget

Desirable attributes and experience:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in delivering Power Platform solutions
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate
• Experience working with the wider Microsoft product stack (particularly SharePoint Online)
• Experience with Dataverse
• Understanding of Azure services such as Logic Apps and Azure DevOps
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of security and compliance best practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field is beneficial but not essential
• Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate is a plus
• Previous consultancy experience is a strong advantage
